As **UnaMesa's Director of Health and Education projects**, Saqib Imtiaz (Saq) brings together technological innovation and committed educators, NGO's and other interested parties, to address the shortcomings in availability and accessibility of quality education. He is driven by the belief that better education and healthcare is the key to alleviating suffering and improving the human condition, and that, given the necessary tools and infrastructure, technology can play a significant role in this area.

* New distance-learning methods to provide up-to-date and quality education in under-served regions.

* Creating opportunities for everyone to participate in **UnaMesa**'s efforts, regardless of background, expertise or resources.
* Development of an educational commons that will include course curriculum and associated tools.
